Venue Registration
These terms and conditions apply to venues registering to host qualifiers for the 1066 Darts Open.
1. Registration fee
- The venue registration fee is £100.
- The registration fee is non-refundable under all circumstances, including cancellation by the venue.
- The fee covers the venue’s inclusion in the tournament, marketing and communications support, and administration costs.
2. Player qualification and final
- Each participating venue will host qualifiers in line with dates agreed with the organisers.
- One winner from each venue will qualify for the live final event.
- The organiser reserves the right to verify results and eligibility of any qualifying player.
3. Ticket obligations for the live final
- The winning player from each venue will be required to sell 10 tickets to the live final at face value (ticket price to be confirmed).
- If the winning player is unable to sell 10 tickets, they must cover the cost of any unsold tickets themselves.
- The venue is responsible for making the winning player aware of this obligation at the point of qualification.
4. Venue responsibilities
- Provide a safe and suitable environment for darts qualifiers, complying with all relevant licensing, health and safety and safeguarding requirements.
- Ensure sufficient staffing and supervision during qualifier events.
- Promote qualifier nights to local customers, using marketing materials supplied by the organiser where appropriate.
- Promptly inform the organiser of any issues that may affect qualifier events or the eligibility of players.
5. Marketing and publicity
- By registering, venues grant the organiser permission to use their venue name, logo (where supplied) and basic details in marketing, press and digital materials related to the 1066 Darts Open.
- Venues may be mentioned in press announcements, on the official website and on social media channels.
6. Changes, postponement or cancellation
- The organiser reserves the right to amend event dates, venues or formats where reasonably necessary.
- In the unlikely event that the overall tournament or live final is cancelled, registration fees will be handled at the organiser’s discretion; however, the standard position is that fees remain non-refundable.
7. Data protection
- Contact details provided in the venue registration form will be used to administer the tournament and communicate important information.
- Details will not be sold to third parties and will only be shared where required for the operation of the event (for example, ticketing or PR partners).
8. General
- By submitting the venue registration form, the venue confirms that the person completing the form is authorised to agree to these terms on behalf of the venue.
- The organiser’s decisions regarding eligibility, qualification and any disputes will be final.
If you have any questions about these terms and conditions, please contact the organisers before submitting your venue registration.
